“Shubh Labh” literally means The Sign of a Good Beginning and the handmade Katputli Couple Puppets, Bride Groom Folk Art Marionettes, Wooden Faces Dolls made in India

Lovely dolls. Their heads are wood with painted features over a white background. They both have a string on their heads for hanging. Only the girl can also move her arms up and down.

They are dressed in beautiful vibrant color dresses. They are hand-sewn from rest of fabric like sari etc….. Bright and shiny multicolor trim gives the puppets a rich look.

Size: the man is 17″ tall (his legs are still attached) and the woman is smaller: 17″ tall

Condition: They are both in excellent vintage condition.
